Just very curious about your experiences with protraction face mask and upper pallet spacers on 7 year old with underbite. He needs 8 mm of correction. We've been told he will have appliance and headgear for 1 full year. That's an eternity for headgear! Large financial investment and very concerned about his discomfort.

Yes it is very effective, but uncomfortable at first, but worth the trouble now to avoid surgery later, he can only go for surg at 18 years so it will avoid him being teased also
